Incredible Warrior Ambassadors

A new, innovative 10-week mentorship and training series that equipped youth with advanced restorative practices techniques for violence prevention, relationship repair, and social change. Through experiential learning and call-to-action projects, ambassadors became community leaders driving equity and nonviolence. These youth are graduates of PPP, as foundational restorative skills are essential for youth to carry out IWA social impact projects. Our Ambassadors’ diligent and unique work creates lasting change in their communities while building a foundation for personal and collective success.

ICM reached a significant milestone in 2024 with the successful launch of the IWA pilot program, marking a natural progression for participants engaged in service-learning and restorative justice work. While PPP reinforces foundational restorative practices (Tier I), IWA and the YAB focus on Tiers II and III, allowing for a more advanced and targeted approach to leadership development and advocacy. Over 85% of PPP participants chose to participate in an IWA cohort. This structure has strengthened participant retention and alumni engagement, ensuring a continuous cycle of youth leadership, mentorship, and program evolution.
